Fertilization Missoula Montana

Full Service Professional Grounds Maintenance

Maintain your entire landscape with a custom scheduled service designed to keep your property looking its best.

Lawn Care
  • We offer regular mowing for both residential and commercial accounts.

  • All services are based on a per service price, so you only pay for what you get.

  • The healthiest way to mow your lawn is by cutting no more than one third the blade of grass each cut with sharp blades. Our maintenance crews sharpen blades and service all our equipment on a daily basis to ensure top quality results in the field.

  • Grass clippings are a healthy, natural fertilizer for your turf that will help to develop and maintain a layer of thatch. This layer holds in moisture and protects the turf roots from the sun. We prefer to mulch clippings back into the turf whenever possible.

  • We offer leaf cleanups in the Fall months too. Keep the leaves off your turf to prevent damage. Our modern equipment allows us to vacuum the leaf debris right into our trucks and haul it off to a recycling area where it’s used as natural compost for crops. Nothing goes to waste.

  • Annual maintenance contracts are available.

  • We also offer Spring and Fall cleanups including edging, pruning and shearing, mulch installation, and weed control programs for your entire landscape.
The same crews perform services for specific clients each week in order to ensure a consistent quality result.

Lawn Fertilization Program

A strong root system is the key to having a healthy, lush, and weed free lawn. The secret to having a strong root system is giving your lawn a healthy diet.
Axent Green Service will keep your lawn strong and vibrant with our year-round fertilization program. We have a four step fertilization program.

  1. The first application in early spring is a slow release fertilizer which includes a pre-emergent control of crabgrass and other grassy weeds.

  2. Treatment two is applied in late spring. It is a nitrogen enriched fertilizer that provides energy to support your turf during the spring growth spurt

  3. Treatment three is applied in early summer. This slow release fertilizer is designed to strengthen plant tissue and help with disease resistance during the summer stress months.

  4. The final treatment is applied in late fall. This is our “winterizer” application that promotes deep root development and a quick spring green-up.

Axent Green uses slow-release fertilizers that provide a longer feeding period than liquid applied fertilizers. If you are interested in enrolling in our fertilization program, fill out our free estimate form and we will contact you shortly.

Aeration is vital to help promote a lush green lawn. It allows your soil to breath and better absorb nutrients, air, and moisture. It also breaks up the thatch layer in your lawn that robs your soil of the important things it needs to promote a lawn that is thick, green, and disease resistance.
